Model United Nations concludes at Heritage School Jammu

Inter House Model United Nations was held at Heritage School Jammu on the 11th and 12th November 2017. More than 100 students from classes VI to X participated in the program. Students formed the Lok Sabha and the United Nations General Assembly. The lok sabha took up key issues like demonetization and goods and services tax (GST) while UNGA took up Goal 16 which talks about Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. The students poignantly presented their views on issues of global dimension with a great deal of zest. Issues were discussed in depth to have a comprehensive analysis of policies and planning. Vedant Singh of class X and Agastya Bajaj of Class IX were declared as Best Delegates for UNGA and Lok Sabha respectively. APJ Kaalam rightly said “Aware and action oriented youth is the country’s greatest strength.” The effort and aim of this activity was to create ignited minds who work with synergy towards peace and progress.
