Heritage School holds an Impressive Investiture Ceremony

Education means preparation of the students for future. This preparation includes training them to be prospective leaders. The new academic session 2018-19 ushered the formation of a new Council Body by a promising bunch of students with immense potential and outstanding leadership qualities imbued in them. The management, staff and parents encouraged the students with their munificent presence on the occasion.

The programme commenced with the welcome speech followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The new Council Body members in their graceful uniform were sworn in by Ms Mahendra Kanwar, the Vice- Principal of the school.
However, the event attained its pinnacle when Asim Mir - Head Boy, and Ishmeet kour - Head Girl, were pinned badges and sashes by the worthy Principal. Vaibhav Sharma, Vice Head Boy and Arshia Gupta, Vice Head Girl, were conferred badges and sashes by the Vice-Principal. Mrs Vandana Jasrotia , Headmistress, adorned the badges to Sehaj Sharma and Ibadat Singh.
Sports Captain, S. Prakalya, was graced by Mr Satinder Singh , sports coordinator. Swati Chopra, cultural secretary was awarded by Ms Neha Sharma. This was followed by the pinning of badges and sashes for the various prestigious posts for the four Houses. Adishree Sharma, Tamanpreet Kour, Keshav Sabarwal, Tushar Taggar were sworn in as House Prefects and Tarundeep Singh, Hani Mond. ,Arpit Kundal, Anveksha Sharma as Vice-Prefects for the four houses. The gifted young Junior Prefects were Tayyib Aadil, Ridhima Singh, Arihant Singh, Surveen Kour, Arham Jain, Swadha Sharma, Arindam Singh, S. Tanvika. All the Council Body members & House Captains promised to maintain high standards of ethics and behavior by treating everyone with dignity and discharging their duties in the most upbeat and assiduous manner.
Stressing upon the power of fair and democratic elections; the worthy chairperson, advised the young torch bearers of the school to live up to the expectations of all around. The Principal, in his inspiring speech advised the students to maintain decorum and discipline, go ahead with positive thoughts and positive contributions so that India can rise and shine. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs Archana Sharma. The Investiture ceremony signified the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. The ceremony concluded with the melodious rendition of the school song .
