Heritage School, Jammu, celebrated Teachers'Day.
Heritage School, Jammu, celebrated Teachers'Day in full gusto with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students had beautifully decorated the classrooms to welcome their teachers and honoured them with flowers and mementos.
The programme began with the Head Boys' speech and cake-cutting. A cultural extravaganza was organised by the student council to appreciate the unwavering commitment of the teachers for the mission and vision of this school. The programme was meticulously planned and executed with finesse. Enthralling music, entertaining comedy acts and well choreographed dances were much appreciated by one and all. Heritage Rockers earned a huge round of applause from everyone for their scintillating performance.
The senior students of the school left no stone unturned to make the day a special one for the teachers. The cultural programme was followed by entertaining games.
A visit by Maj. Parveen Singh Randhawa along with a team of teachers and students from Rajouri and Reasi was the special highlight of the programme.
The Principal Mr. Akash Pradhan addressed the teachers with his inspiring words. He congratulated the teachers for motivating and nurturing the students to march in the right direction and appreciated their constant endeavour in bringing Heritage School to such a great height. Altogether it was a wonderful event which culminated by paying rich tributes to Dr. Radha krishnan in whose memory this day is celebrated to inspire many more to follow his footsteps.
The programme ended with a scrumptious lunch hosted by the School.
