Heritageans proved their mettle in Seventh Edition of IIMUN Mumbai Championship Conference held at The Retreat Hotel and Convention Center from 10th to 13th August. The delegation included Agastya Bajaj,Vedant Singh, Namit Mahajan, Puru Gupta and Rishab Kumar. Vedant Singh and Agastya Bajaj won Best Delegate Award in DISEC and ECOFIN respectively. Team Heritage was highly appreciated for their commendable performance. The experience was very enlighting for all of them as the level of exposure was unprecedented. 800 students from 50 schools across the country as well abroad participated in the conference.
The IIMUN is world’s largest MUN Organisation, having been associated and affliated to organisations ranging from Ministry of External Affairs Govt. of India to the United Nations itself.It aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the UN agenda. The participants role play as diplomats representing a nation or NGO in a simulated session of the UN, such as the Security Council or the General Assembly.Each council in the competition was adjudicated by former and sitting ambassadors who have represented our country in their specific councils.
