PRIMARY WING OF HERITAGE SCHOOL CONDUCTS INTERACTIVE STORY TELLING SESSION

An Interactive Story Telling and Read Aloud Session was conducted in Heritage School for students of Class III on Thursday, August 30, 2018. It was conducted by Ms Nikita Arora in association with Pratham Books Campaign.
#OneDayOneStory. Ms Nikita Arora is a Phonics Practitioner and a certified storyteller. She has worked extensively with children at Pre-Primary and Primary level.
The session was a precursor to the celebration of International Literacy Day which is observed on 8th of September every year. Ms Nikita chose one story for both sessions called ‘A Cloud of Trash’ written by Karanjeet Kour. The story highlights how the trash that we throw around, hangs over us as a cloud of burden.
The dramatic narration of the story captivated the children in awe and they listened to her in rapt attention. The enjoyment of the session was still written all over their faces as the Headmistress gave her Vote Of Thanks at the end of the session.
