Heritage School believes that learning to live and work together can prove to be a great experience for the young students and so the school has always taken initiative in encouraging its students to take up career of their choice. In keeping with this tradition, the school organized a career counseling event for the students of class X, XI & XII which was highly appreciated by the students. The distinguished guest speakers on this momentous occasion were Sh. S.K. Sharma, Additional Commissioner Income Tax, Jammu J&K, Dr. Ruveda Salam, Asst. Commissioner Income Tax, Jammu, J&K and Mr. Danish Rana, IPS, IGP Armed, Jammu. The esteemed dignitaries were welcomed with flower bouquets and presented with mementos as a token of appreciation. A welcome address and a brief introduction of the distinguished guests were read out during the event elaborating on their achievements and accomplishments in their respective fields.
The event was conducted on 25th April 2019 in the school campus. It commenced with a motivational talk with students and an open discussion on various ways to maximize their potential. The students were duly guided by the experts regarding the benefits of time management and self discipline. The session was highly informative for the students as it will help them to make informed choices leading to effective decisions.
The response of the students was overwhelming after the session. They felt more confident of themselves and their talents. The talk provided a platform for the students in sharing their thoughts.
