Scouts and Guides Camp Pratham Sopan Concludes at Heritage School

A four-day Scouts and Guides camp for Pratham Sopan was successfully organized in Heritage School, from 22nd to 25th April 2024.

110 students from classes VI & VII attended this camp which was conducted by Mr R P Kotwal- State Training Comissioner (S), Ms. Manjeet Kour - Jt. State Training Commissioner (G),
Ms. Manjeet Kour Incharge Scouts and Guides Heritage School and other trainers from Gandhi Nagar.

During the four-day camp students were initiated into the 'Pratham Sopan'. The able team of instructors cultivated the requisite traits, values and skills in the campers in an efficient and smooth manner. The recruits were acquainted with the history of Scouts and Guides movement, the motto and the manner of 'greeting' of the club.
They were also taught how to take care of their personal hygiene, well-being and good manners. They were given basic knowledge of first aid and were taught the Wood Craft sign and patrolling.
All participants displayed incessant vigour and vitality during the camp.

The Principal Heritage School, Mr. Akash Pradhan, interacted with the young scouts and guides. In his address to the students, he applauded the them for their initiative in joining the camp. He expressed his firm belief in the values imparted in the camp which will go a long way in instilling positive attitude and good habits, ultimately leading to their overall personality development
