Heritage School participated in AFS Regional North Zone Cultural Exchange Event at Selaqui International School in Dehradun from 19th to 21st of April 2024. The school team comprised of Vivek Singh from class XI and Dhananjaya Malhotra from class XII, escorted by their mentor Dr. Ajeet Bali, PGT Political Science and Incharge AFS. The theme of the conference, attended by 34 schools from the North Zone, was Inclusivity which resonated throughout the various sessions our students attended. They were addressed by esteemed guest lecturers and personalities who imparted wisdom on embracing diversity. The day was also significant for the new friendships forged, promising to last a lifetime. The programme included a visit to the nearby village of Kenchiwala on the 21st of April where the students engaged with the local women and conducted an informative session on menstrual hygiene. The event concluded with an inspiring speech by Dr Jagpreet Singh, Principal Doon School that broadened their perspectives. This Exchange Programme provided our students with a platform to grow, learn and contribute to society. We are proud of their participation and the maturity with which they represented Heritage School.
