Heritage School Organizes Workshop on Pedagogical Skills for Teachers

Heritage School, as part of its ongoing commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD), organized an insightful and engaging workshop on Pedagogical Skills for its teaching facultyon 11th July 2025. The session was conducted by esteemed educator and resource person, Ms. Archana Mishra, who brings over 30 years of rich experience in the field of education across India and Bhutan.
Ms. Mishra, a firm advocate of learner-centric teaching, scientific literacy, and sustainable living, provided valuable insights into the evolving role of teachers in today’s dynamic educational landscape. The workshop emphasized the concept of the teacher as a lifelong learner and a moderator who guides and empowers students.
The workshop focused on enhancing student engagement, developing student-centered teaching practices, and identifying the qualities of effective teachers. It covered designing impactful lesson plans, fostering a positive classroom environment, understanding learning principles, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
Teachers received valuable tips for hands-on activities and strategies to enhance classroom effectiveness. The workshop was interactive, informative, and extremely well-received, leaving educators motivated and equipped with new tools to refine their instructional practices.
