Heritage School organised an inspiring motivational session by its distinguished alumnus, Agastya Bajaj, Batch of 2020–21, who is currently in the final year of MBBS at Grant Government Medical College & Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai.
The session commenced with a warm welcome by the Vice Principal Ms Rasmi Thakur, who fondly greeted Agastya back to his ‘second home’. She described him as a true embodiment of the values Heritage School upholds—excellence, discipline, dedication and holistic growth.
During his school years, Agastya had been an enthusiastic participant in a wide range of co-curricular activities while maintaining exceptional academic performance. A recipient of the Academic Blazer, he was among the highest scorers in both class X and XII Board Examinations, securing an impressive 96.6% in Class XII Boards and an All India Rank of 1596 in NEET with a 99.88 percentile.
Addressing the students of Classes IX to XII, Agastya spoke passionately about his memorable journey that began at Heritage in 2013. He reflected on how his school experiences, challenges and friendships shaped his outlook and strengthened his resolve to pursue medicine. Encouraging the students to make the most of their school years, he remarked, “The weight of your school bag is the lightest weight you will ever carry in life.” He urged them to avoid undue stress, focus on all-round development and value every stage of their learning journey.
A dynamic interactive session followed, where students eagerly sought his advice on coping with academic pressure, managing Board exam stress, making informed career choices and balancing studies with extracurricular pursuits. With warmth and honesty, Agastya shared his personal strategies, inspiring his juniors to stay consistent, confident and curious.
The event concluded with an address by the Principal Mr Akash Pradhan, who expressed immense pride in Agastya’s achievements and his journey of perseverance and purpose. He congratulated him for exemplifying the spirit of Heritage School and encouraged students to emulate his dedication and determination.
The motivational session left the audience deeply inspired, reinforcing the belief that hard work, positivity and passion are the true foundations of success.
