The Heritage School Jammu participated in the GLOBAL GENESIS SCHOOL NOIDA, MUN from 13th October to 15th October 2023. Vivek Singh and Devang Uttama two delegates from Heritage School Jammu who participated in the UN Women committee at Genesis MUN, held at Genesis Global School. They were accompanied by their MUN coordinator Dr. Ajeet Bali. They represented the USA and China respectively and debated on various issues related to gender equality and women's empowerment. They impressed the chairpersons and fellow delegates with their research, diplomacy and public speaking skills and won SPECIAL MENTION awards for their outstanding performance.
They also had a wonderful time exploring the huge campus of Genesis Global School, which had state-of-the-art facilities and amenities. They enjoyed the great hospitality of the host school, which provided them with comfortable accommodation, delicious food and entertainment options. They made new friends from different schools and countries and exchanged their views and experiences. They also learned a lot from the guest speakers, workshops and cultural events that were organized as part of the conference.
Vivek and Devang returned to Jammu with a lot of memories, knowledge and confidence. They thanked Heritage School for giving them this opportunity and expressed their desire to attend more MUNs in the future. They also thanked Genesis Global School for hosting such a wonderful conference and hoped to visit again soon.
