School Emblem & Motto

Heritage School derives its inspiration from our revered Late Shrimati Dhanwanti Devi who protected us and many others, like a banyan tree. There are umpteen examples where seers and ancient gurus have taken shelter under this tree of knowledge to surrender to the almighty and receive enlightenment. Trees (Vriksha) have played an important role in our lives since time immemorial and it is in this backdrop that we found, the sacred tree, a symbol of Gyan, Sanrakshan and Samridhi, as the torch bearer of our endeavour. Hence comes our resolve to get enlightened, receive knowledge and attain humility - 'Vidya Dadati Vinayam' (Seeking humility theough knowledge) thus, has been adopted as our School Moto.

The School Motto "Vidya Dadati Vinayam" from ancient Indian scripture, with all sublimity, epitomizes our rich traditional belief in humanity to lead a life free from strife and discrimination, a life with new possibilities, governed by the eternal principles of Truth, Affection and Goodness. All those who are deeply associated with the establishment of the school believe that this glorious tradition of value oriented life could be regenerated with a harmonious synthesis of the ancient and the modern, the intellectual and the emotional, the sublime and the mundane. The Management and the staff profess with commitment, that parents and all members of staff connected in any way with Heritage school are partners in this unique social endeavour.
